During my study of Communication & Multimedia design I followed the course UX Illustrations in which I was tasked to create a website using my own illustrations. The website had to be a storytelling website, which would be enhanced by your own illustrations. I chose to design a website which revolves round the stars and their history, for which I created illustrations in Procreate.
In the platform Ans, there’s a feature called "flow groups" that allows users to order, randomise, and shuffle exercises within an assignment. However, the current user experience with flow groups is repetitive and frustrating, primarily due to the extensive drag-and-drop actions required. My role in this project is to enhance the user experience, reducing time consuming tasks and making flow groups more efficient to use.
For this project, we were tasked with improving the website of Rainbow Den Haag. Considering that the target audience is LGBTQ+ refugees, we conducted thorough research to understand their needs. This project gave me insight into designing for a vulnerable group.
